THE BRAND

After graduating from ESMOD International Paris in 2004, Magalie Dacosta-Noble gained experience with different designers in France, before launching her “ready to wear" collection in 2006.

 

She then worked as a freelance designer for custom-made and designed bridal gowns in Paris. This experience cemented her passion and love for couture, ensuring it’s always paired with French "savoir-faire”.

 

In 2008 she relocated to Australia where she decided to make the beautiful sea-side city of Sydney her home. Since moving, her experience and imagination have been her inspiration; launching her own wedding gown collection in 2018.
 

Inspired by different eras of fashion and icons such as Louise Brooks, Grace Kelly, Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot as well as designers like Gabrielle Chanel, Yves St Laurent and Giambattista Valli, she creates dresses like precious stones - with love and passion.

 

Silk, lace, organza, tulle… MD embraces passion for beautiful fabric and a fascination for detail. 

Each dress is created by hand in our atelier, using only the best luxurious French and Italians fabrics.
